Medical disclaimer

Read this before booking. It sets out what an online physiotherapy consultation is, and what it is not.

This page is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Do not rely on it as legal advice.

This is a consultation, not an examination

A physiotherapy diagnosis normally involves hands-on testing. Online, that is replaced by your history, your imaging, and movement tests you perform yourself on camera. This is enough for many musculoskeletal problems and not enough for some. Where it is not enough, you will be told.

It does not replace your treating doctor

If you are under the care of a surgeon, physician or another therapist, this consultation is additional to their care, not a substitute for it. Do not stop treatment they have prescribed on the basis of what you are told here.

Exercise carries risk

Any exercise programme carries a risk of injury. Work within the range you are given, stop if pain becomes sharp or worsens, and report it before continuing.

Educational content is general

The videos, articles and graphics published by Sukon Med are general education for a broad audience. They are not personal medical advice and cannot account for your individual case.

Emergencies

Call your local emergency number for chest pain, sudden weakness or numbness in a limb, loss of bladder or bowel control, fever with severe back pain, or pain after a serious accident. Do not wait for a consultation.
